Wow! What a busy week we have had in Juniper class.
On Monday we went on our first school trip, hoping we would finally find the Gruffalo at Delamere Forest. Finally, we saw the Gruffalo and all of the children were very impressed with the ‘purple prickles all over his back’. We had a super day and we all enjoyed walking around the forest to find the Gruffalo (even if our legs did get tired). A big thank you to all of the parent helpers who joined us on our lovely day.
On Tuesday we enjoyed the company of some of our Mummy’s for our stay and play art session. We had a lovely afternoon making our very own Gruffalo using different art resources with some help from our Mummy’s.
On Wednesday we had a very successful sponsored toddle. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us and the money you and your children have raised. Well done to everyone who took part.
Also this week we have been learning all about Autumn. We went on an Autumn walk around the school grounds to see what we could see and find.
On Friday we wore hats, scarves and wigs to raise money and awareness for ‘Stand Up To Cancer’. Well done everyone!
