Kind to humans and animals in Maple
This week in maths we have been finding effective ways to add three numbers together. The children did a great job and they had a number crossword to complete as a Friday challenge. They had to use their resilience as well as their maths skills to solve it and did a fantastic job!
In English we have been writing stories where we defeat a villain! There were lots of different villains and many, many ways to defeat them! To make then better we have been editing and improving by making sure they make sense when we read them and choosing better words to improve the stories.
On Tuesday during Forest Schools it was VERY wet! The children still participated with enthusiasm to make bird feeders to help the birds through the winter.
In preparation for the Christmas season we have made a kindness advent so that we can remember that Christmas is about kindness and friendships as well as everything else.
We can’t wait to start it on Monday and do kind things in the classroom and around school.
Please make sure you read with your child every day and sign their reading record.
Have a great weekend!
