Celebrating achievements!

In English, Willow Class have been innovating their Letters from the perspective of Jemmy Button. They had a chance to look at some letters from home and completed their hot task – thinking of new words and phrases – they have put lots of effort in being creative with their adjectives this week!

In Maths, we completed our length unit. Willow Class found it tricky at first to convert cm to mm and m to cm but were really getting the hang of it by the end of the week! We will revisit this later in the school year.

Oak View Academy this week celebrated the life of Sir Tom Moore for his achievements in raising money for the NHS . Some children were able to complete 5 laps a day and created lovely rainbows for their windows. Children in class created a big rainbow for the classroom window!

Well done, Willow Class, keep it up!

Olive made an amazing Roman villa!
