A Viking invasion
What a brilliant week in Willow class! The children have worked exceptionally hard and continue to impress me. We had quizzes all week: the children worked extremely hard at them, putting in 100 per cent effort. I was really impressed and proud of the outcome.
This week a Viking came and invaded Willow class: the children all turned into Vikings for the day. They were able to see what it would be like to live life as a Viking. The children tried on the Viking costumes, were able to do the Viking chores, see what it was like to trade as a Viking and learned lots more about them. They were engaged and focused throughout the day.
In English, the children boxed up their text and next week they will be creating their hot task which I can’t wait to read as they will show off what they have learned.
In swimming, the children are showing determination and enjoyment. They are continuing to become more confident swimmers.
I am looking forward to another exciting week! Well done Willow class!
