Amazing artists!

In Oak this week we have explored our artistic side by sketching the Great Pyramids of Giza and exploring with how to shade and create texture using pencil. As you can see we really enjoyed this!

In maths this week we have started to shift our focus onto multiplication. We have explored a variety of multiplication techniques including partitioning, grid method and the formal method. This has allowed us to celebrate the similarities and differences in how each of us work and find a method which we find easiest.

In English this week we have planned and begun writing our own version of Rose Blanche’s diary! What would you have thought as a child caught in WWII? We have focused on the use of parenthesis, fronted adverbials, varying our sentence openers and developing our writer’s voice. What a fantastic job we are doing too!
