An exciting week!
It’s been a jam-packed week of fun, determination and adventures.
The children went on their residential, which was brilliant. Year 3 represented the school wonderfully: their behaviour was exceptional and I was very proud of them. The children all got stuck in, showed determination and conquered any fears or nerves. They participated in a range of activities: such as 3G swing, problem solving, caving, night line and many more.
In English this week, the children have been planning their new instructions for trapping a beast. Today, they rehearsed their instructions using the IPads. This meant they could watch everything back and see what they missed within their instructions so they could be ready for their hot task.
In maths this week, the children have been counting in multiples and they applied their knowledge of what they had learned to their own problems.
In topic, the children created a set of instructions of how to trap a Viking; their ideas were very imaginative. The children also used the atlas to find where the Vikings came from and where they invaded.
