Animal Magic Maple
We had a very informative assembly from the NSPCC this week teaching us about who we can talk to in various situations and learnt a rhyme for the Childline phone number.
In maths we have started subtraction and the children have made a great start on this and I can’t wait to continue this next week!
In computing half the class made programmes to make the sun set and the moon rise and the other half were making verbal programmes by directing each other around the hall and around obstacles as well. This also improves our communication and listening skills.
In English we have started to plan our own information text about an animal. The children are very knowledgeable and passionate about their favourite animals and sharing this with the class.
In RE we recapped a New Testament story and acted it out in groups. It was very well performed and the children enjoyed the chance to perform to their friends.
Have a great weekend!
