What a week Cedar Class had last week. It was Science Week and we were star gazers, scientist testing their predictions and even chocolatiers! We were very busy! Here are some of our favourite pictures from the week:
Piping chocolate into the moulds:
Our finished chocolates:
Learning about stars in the planetarium:
Carrying out the experiment- How to get an ice cube through the holes in a plant pot:
Melting it using the heat of our hands.
We have also completed our lost and found stories in English and there were some great ideas. Jack M even used a real life event (his tooth falling out in school and then him loosing it!) to write his story.
In maths we have worked on time and number skills.
The children have also continued their swimming lessons which they are loving!
If any parents have any spare small cardboard or plastic items for our construction corner then please bring them in to school so that we can build things! Thank you.
