Last week Juniper’s were learning all about Wales as we celebrated St. Davids Day. We were learning about traditions in Wales including Welsh cakes. Juniper’s loved learning all about Wales, traditions and culture.
We made Welsh cakes by thinking about what ingredients we needed, how we would make them, weighing the ingredients and making them in small groups. Junipers had a lot of fun cutting the welsh cake shapes out and supervising frying them in the pan.
Junipers were fascinated when we spoke about how Miss Latham is Welsh and lives in Wales. Junipers had a lot of great questions and were eager to find out lots of information.
Junipers ate their Welsh cakes during snack time and all of the Junipers loved them!
