In Forest Schools this week we had the chance to try out a fire strike. Whilst supervised, the children lit a small piece of cotton wool. They were all fantastic and all listened to the instructions given to make sure they stayed safe.
Then one group also helped Chris to chop some pieces of wood up into smaller sticks so that we can make a fire big enough for marshmallows next week!
This week we have all dressed in our best Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children. We were definitely a very Christmassy bunch in Maple class!
We have done some more work on our Picasso style drawings. Some are finished – they are real masterpieces!
We will be doing dress rehersals again on Monday so if your child’s costume is not in school please make sure it is on Monday.
Enjoy your weekend!
