Deathly Rituals

This week Willow Class learnt all about the significance of the river Nile to the Egyptians and how they believed the god Hapi bright the floods to ensure a good harvest. We continued our Egyptian learning into art where they began their creation of Egyptian death masks!

In English the children finished off their innovations and on Friday began their hot tasks, they have impressed me with their use of adverbial phrases for sentence starters. Well done!
