This week, Hawthorn Class have, once again, launched themselves into the world of online-learning. We have been so impressed by the effort made by pupils in Y5 to engage with this week’s lessons.
In Maths, pupils revisited the place value of 6-digit numbers, using place value charts and inequality symbols to compare numbers.
In English, we have been exploring the book ‘Demon Dentist’ by David Williams and thinking about how the author wants us to perceive the main characters.
For those children that have returned to school, we had the opportunity to take part in – a VERY cold – forest school lesson. We wrapped up warm and set to work making a fire to heat up some hot chocolate!
Keep up the good work everyone 🙂
