Hawthorn’s First Video Call
Hawthorn Class have had another brilliant week of online-learning!
In Maths, the children have been calculating the volume of various 3D shapes, and working out how many 1cm3 blocks they can fit inside a rectangular box.
In English, the children have continued to explore our survival guide. They have been practising how to use a comma to make information clearer. We read lots of silly sentences and realised how confusing it can be for the reader without a comma!
This week, pupils from Hawthorn Class took part in a Google Video call. It was so lovely to see so many happy faces, to catch up with each other and see how everyone has been getting on during these strange times!
Keep smiling 🙂
