Whitby's Lane, Winsford, CW7 2LZ

It’s been a very different week for Hawthorn Class this week because, along with the rest of Oak View, they are now doing their learning from home!

Although it is a very strange and tricky time, Hawthorn have risen to the challenge and proved they can be resilient and independent learners. A big thank you to all those who have tried their hardest to get to grips with the new Google Classroom – we will get there!

In Maths, Hawthorn have been converting different units of measurement – they were tasked with finding items in their kitchen cupboard and converting the weight from g to kg!

In English, they have practised using colons and bullet points to punctuate lists – in preparation for writing their instruction manuals.

Hawthorn are engaging in their home learning topic activities, giving them the opportunity to share their learning about Cheshire & The Alps, with their families.

Stay safe and keep up the good work Hawthorn!
