This week in Juniper Class we have been writing our own losing story. The children in Juniper class have worked really hard at home looking at their plans from last week and turning their plans into a piece of writing. I have been very impressed at how all children have tried really hard with their writing. I could see that everyone used their sounds, challenged themselves to write as much as they could and some children even used descriptive language in their text!
Junipers have also been practising their addition and subtraction skills at home this week. I love that children have completed this is different ways that support them best. I have had photographs sent to me of children using objects, number lines, counting on and counting backwards to support them when answering an addition or subtraction question.
Children have been making posters at home to show support for the NHS, Key workers and everyone that is working hard in very difficult circumstances. I have loved receiving photographs of children showing their appreciation by displaying their posters in their windows at home.
I am very proud of how hard everyone has been working at home and it has been lovely to see lots of photographs uploaded to Learning Book.
Remember we miss you all lots so keep uploading images to Learning Book over the Easter holidays and have fun completing your video diaries! I look forward to seeing them all.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter and have a little break before we start back with our online learning on Monday 20th April.
