Hawthorn Class have had a fabulous week and I am really proud of how much effort everyone is putting in with their online work! They have really shown they have what it takes to be independent learners.
In Maths, the children have been calculating the area of various shapes, using different methods to find the most efficient way. They have also been estimating the area using their mathematical knowledge to make an educated guess.
In English, the children have started to explore our new model text – a survival guide. They have been exploring how to build different shelters in the wild, in preparation for writing their own survival guide for intrepid explorers!
Pupils from Hawthorn Class took part in Oak View’s ‘Wear your uniform at home day’ to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice. It was so lovely to see so many of you looking very smart and working hard at home.
