This week we stepped into a magical classroom, full of imagination!
On Monday, the children in Juniper class walked into a magical room, full of curiosity and wonder. The lights were dimmed in the classroom to set a mysterious, relaxing atmosphere as a cube full of different objects was placed in the centre of the room.
The cube had objects such as lights, stars, a jar, reflective band and glittery stars inside. We have spent this week using our imagination to predict what we think we are going to start learning about. We have had a great focus on descriptive words for English, encouraging descriptive language around the classroom.
We have had some amazing predictions from all of the children in Juniper class; out of space, Christmas, Birthdays, Stars, Lights. We have had lots of amazing questioning along with this curiosity cube such as ‘Where do stars come from?’ This is something we are now going to focus on and follow the children’s interests.
We are all very excited to find out what book this curiosity cube is about next week!
