This week pupils in Hawthorn Class took part in a range of activities for ‘World Maths Day 2020. They searched for lines of symmetry in superhero logos and even created their own! They played battleships against one another, using their knowledge of coordinates and they even created 3D Roman Numerals.
In English, the children have begun writing their own biographies, all about the life of Henry Box Brown – one of the most famous runaway slaves!
In topic, we have enjoyed finding out about the Titanic and discovering what it was like, on board, for people who could afford a ticket on her maiden voyage.
