Maple go WILD outdoors!
Well what a busy week we have all had!
This week in maths we have been investigating number bonds to 20 and looking for patterns up to 100. In English, Field Maple have written their own warning stories with some that are several pages long! Sugar Maple have been creating their own characters in the warning story and went round school to show them off!
During PE we played team games and we are delighted about the way the children worked together to achieve their aims!
To finish off the week we have had a FANTASTIC day at Pettypool with Sycamore class! The rain started before we had left school but luckily it stopped by the time we got there.
We have participated in a variety of activities including crate stacking, climbing and investigating the grounds on a nature walk.
We are all so proud of the way the children have really got stuck into the activities even when they weren’t sure. Every child tried every activity and overcame those fears and insecurities. We even had a second go on the climbing wall where children reached a higher point that they did the first time round!
