Maple take over Liverpool!
We have had a jam packed week!
On Tuesday we had our Forest School session and this week we used our imaginations to make something from a stick, then we used secateurs to cut back the plants that had grown over the path. It was much tidier after we finished!
Also on Tuesday, two teams of children participated in the North West Academies Trust Netball competition. They showed great team work and the teams came 2nd and 3rd. Mr Rimmer was so proud of the skill and determination the children showed!
On Wednesday Maple class visited the Liverpool World Museum. We met lots of different minibeasts in an interactive session with the museum guide then we found a wonderful room full of drawers. Inside the drawers were lots of different animals and animal artefacts as well as looking at them we could tough some of them too!
Finally on Friday we celebrated Children in Need by wearing something spotty. Maple class really got into the spirit of it and wore all sorts of different things from ties to socks!
We also had a duck race where we had to balance our duck on a tennis racket and run whilst making sure it didn’t fall off! Jimmy and Bethany were the winners of the races and they both got a little prize.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
