Wow! What a brilliant week in Sycamore class. The children have been full of excitement and enthusiasm towards their learning!
In DT this week the children have been evaluating existing products to help inform their ideas to create their own bread. The children have enjoyed the evaluating and planning process. The children had discussions with their partners about the texture, taste and appearance. Sycamore class also made prototypes of different bread shapes using salt dough.
In maths this week the children have really impressed me with their passion for learning. The children have quickly acquired skills to locate specific points on a quadrant and the children have been commenting on how much they have enjoyed the maths lessons.
In English this week the children have been focusing on key vocabulary and grammar. We have been going through the process of a guided write which will support the children when they begin writing their invention narrative independently.
