New Year, New Learning

What a fantastic week back.

In maths we have been busy learning about fractions. We can convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions and have even begun looking at equivalent fractions. We did the paper challenge and kept halving a piece of A4 paper but then had to put it all back together.

In English we have been inventors and learnt from the very best, Wallace and Gromit. We have focused on an explanation text about  The Snoozatron, its a genius invention which helps insomniac inventors get back to sleep.

Our new topic, The Maya has given us many burning questions already and we are eager to learn more. We already know that the Maya people still live in Central America today!
