What a busy week we have had in Hawthorn Class!
On Monday and Tuesday, the children took part in a Christmas Cantata at the Lifestyle Centre alongside 12 other schools in Winsford. Together, they performed a variety of Christmas songs, which they have been working incredibly hard to learn over the past few weeks. For anyone who came to watch, you will agree when I say, the children were fabulous and represented Oak View Academy with pride and enthusiasm!
Later this week, the children embarked on a trip to Chester Zoo to consolidate their rainforest topic. Whislt there, the children took part in a rainforest workshop, which took them on a journey deep into the Amazon to discover why the rainforest is so important us. And of course, we paid a visit to some rainforest animals during the afternoon!
