Science Week

Sycamore have had a very busy week as it has been Science week. We had the opportunity to learn more about space, as a planaterium came to visit the school on Thursday. The children were able to look into the night sky, right in our very own school hall! We learnt lots of things about our solar system; its planets; moons and stars. On Friday, along with the rest of KS2, we took at trip to Techniquest in Wrexham.

In English, we have come to the end of our thriller stories. And I have to say how utterly impressed I have been with the quality of writing children have been producing. I can’t wait to read their hot tasks next week.

In Maths, we have been looking at finding fractions of amounts and will continue with this next week.
