Sea life creatures
This week we have been exploring sea life creatures. The children have been busy making a display for our bathroom sticking on different sea life creatures. Exploring different sea life in water and ice and playing fishing games.
We have explored the large playground again, the children love the open space of being able to run around freely. We took our parachute and balls too which was fun. The children loved hiding underneath, balancing balls on top and watching them roll off. We have practised our colours and had singing time.
As the weather has been good we have had our carpet time outside, the children have been super collecting the mats for the children to sit on and the bag for ‘ Whats in the bag’.
We have had a special visitor Terry the tortoise visit the nursery this week. Miss Leigh brought him in from home. All of the children were able to hold or touch him. They were fascinated with his hard shell on his back.
For all of the children who will be moving up to Little Acorns in September you should of all received your letter from school for your registration this week. Please complete this as soon as you can and return to secure your child’s place. We have planned visits for the children to Acorns classroom with Ms Eddleston and Ms Latham week beginning Monday 5th July. This will be an opportunity for the children to meet Ms Alford and other teaching staff and have a look around the classroom. If you have any questions please let me know.
We have had a number of toys kindly donated from a parent in Acorns nursery. The children have loved the new ironing board and ice cream kart its been a big hit. If anyone has any toys that are no longer required we would be happy to find them a new home in our nursery.
Look forward to seeing you all next week Ms Eddleston and team.
