Snowy play in Maple
This week we have continued with Jack and the Baked Beanstalk in English and have been writing letters from Jack to his mum to explain what is happening on our adventure at the top of the beanstalk. He found out and sent us some magic beans! Their magical powers were to turn Maple class into super writers and it did!!!
In maths we have been learning the 10 times tables and we decorated the stairs to help with our maths!
In Forest Schools this week we were measuring willow branches and ordering them from longest to shortest to make a triangle shape then we made a willow snake which was 84 paces long!
Then we played foxes and rabbits and explored what happens when the foxes eat all the rabbits.
The snow also visited Winsford this week and on Wednesday we got to play outside in the snow at break time! It was very chilly but we had a great time making snow angels and snow men as well as throwing the snow in the air and watching it glitter.
Enjoy the extended weekend and we will see you all refreshed and ready on Monday!
