It’s been another very busy week in Cedar Class!
In Maths, we have continued our work on ordering numbers to 10 and have been using practical resources such as Numicon to help us!
In English, we have been carrying on our work relating to the book Major Glad, Major Dizzy. The children have really enjoyed looking at this book and seeing the different eras pictured on each page.
The class have become particularly hooked on our Science topics this week. We completed a materials hunt in class, which the children really enjoyed and took very seriously! To accompany our work on seasonal changes we have begun taking a photo under a tree in the playground. The hope is that, over the course of the year, the children will get to see the changes that the tree goes through. If you look closely at the picture at the top of our blog, you can just about see some of the leaves turning red and brown!
A special well done goes to Alexis for winning our Learner of the Week award and James for winning our Star of the Week award!
