Swinging through the trees with nimble spider monkeys!
This week Hawthorn class have been busy writing their non-chronological report on one of our favourite animals from Chester Zoo – the spider monkey! I have been impressed by your drafting skills throughout this week and I look forward to reading your reports about your own invented creature next week!
In maths we have explored a range of line graphs and used these to answer a range of comparison, sum and difference problems.
Hawthorn class have enjoyed the opportunity to apply their collaging skills to create bright and wonderful props for our harvest festival. We have also: evaluated our canoes as part of our design project; learnt about Jonah in the bible and applied our basic hockey skills in mini-tournaments.
In addition, this weekend you have the privilege of taking your chosen brass instruments home to practice! Enjoy!!
Thank you for all your hard work.
