This week has been an exciting week for Sycamore class.
As our topic is Europe, we have had a special visitor to school to help us cook some savoury Danish pastries! They looked really delicious. Most of the children tried them at home and really enjoyed them, so thank you for cooking them with the children!
During the visit, we also identified lots of ingredients from around the world, and the children had to identify whether the ingredients had come from a place in Europe or not. Then, the had to identify how far the ingredients had travelled to get to the UK. We also looked at these countries on a map!
We also tried some different European foods such as chorizo, quiche lorraine and brioche. The children particularly enjoyed the brioche and chorizo!
In Maths, we have finished our topic of money, and have started our new topic of time!
Have a lovely weekend.
