This week, the children have been taught by both Mr McKenzie-Owens and Miss Burke.
In Science, we have been learning about solids, liquids and gases. The class have conducted their own science experiment using chocolate. They were investigating materials as they change state, and so investigated the best temperature for melting chocolate. They were able to understand how heat can cause solids to change to liquids and vice versa. The class can identify materials that melt at different temperatures.
In Maths, we have been learning how to tell the time on an analogue clock. The children have been working really hard at this, but it would be great if you could continue to help your child to tell the time at home, to the nearest minute.
In English, we have been continuing to innovate our warning stories!
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend!
Miss Burke and Mr McKenzie-Owens.
