Voyage of discovery
This week, Sycamore took a trip to Liverpool to study the Titanic. We visited the Maritime museum where we had the opportunity to find out more about ‘The Unsinkable Ship’, it’s crew and passengers. The children were put into the shoes of passengers across all classes and had to guess their fate. We had a discussion about who was to blame for it’s sinking and were able to see artefacts from the wreckage. A brilliant day out.
In English, we are innovating our thriller stories and have been really excelling in our choice of language. I have been extremely impressed. In Maths, we have been looking at the effect of multiplying and dividing by 10 and counting in tenths and hundredths.
