We Are Egyptologists!

This week we have been busy writing our diary entries after learning about Rose Blanche and her struggles and strifes. We really enjoyed writing our diaries some of us even wrote as if we were Howard Carter the day he found King Tut’s tomb!

In maths we have begun to look at long division. Did you know there is more than just one way to divide a number? Year 6 have grasped partitioning a number to find the quotient and have begun experimenting with the long formal method!

We were incredibly grateful this week, we were very fortunate to have the presence of an Egypt ‘expert’. She came in and shared her experiences of living in Egypt and showed us some of the places that us tourists would not go to. We were flabbergasted- what a beautiful country! We even learnt some words in Arabic. Thank you for your time and knowledge, we really enjoyed being able to ask lots of questions.
