A week of perfect attendance and surprises!
This week Cedar were awarded with both the attendance and punctuality award in celebration assembly as we had 100% attendance and only one late. Congratulations. Keep it up! Here we are with our trophy:
In English we have focused on the story of Handa’s Surprise, learning about the animals who sneakily took Handa’s fruit! The children wrote some fantastic descriptions of the fruit (which they got to taste) and came up with some fantastic adjectives such as juicy and squishy. They then wrote a letter to Handa, pretending to be one of the animals, apologising for stealing her fruit.

We have continued with our number work and reasoning skills this week and the children have worked hard at sequencing numbers. In topic we have learnt about the continent. We also had a fantastic Roald Dahl day making our very own enormous crocodile!
