Whacky hair, wonderful week!
This week Sycamore class have been considering the key terms of inclusion and the opposite term discrimination. The children read through lots of scenarios and they had to decide and justify which were examples of inclusion and which were examples of discrimination. The children continued to use the key vocabulary that we had discussed.
In English this week the children have been answering key questions and collecting ideas to contribute to their writing of a setting description. Next week the children will be planning and writing their own setting descriptions.
In maths this week the children have demonstrated impressive skills in learning their 7 and 9 times tables. The children have used this knowledge to support them in solving word problems.
Finally, Sycamore class participated in Whacky hair day today in support of Children in Need!
